In general terms, this IpLearn solution automatically tracks a user's learning progress and provides appropriate rewards. For example, when the user reaches predetermined learning milestones, the customizable solution could provide rewards based on the user's performance and preferences. When and what to reward the user could also be set, such as, by an instructor. Through providing a more immediate connection between performance and reward, this solution could boost user satisfaction and further motivate the user to learn.
Features Include:
- Allowing a third party, such as an instructor, to decide where to set milestones and the rewards associated with those milestones in the learning process.
- Determining whether milestones are reached based on, for example, completion of learning materials and achievement of mastery levels.
- Providing rewards based on, for example, the user’s performance, profile, and preferences.
- Allowing the user to give feedback on the rewards provided.
- Providing physical rewards, such as gift certificates and tickets to events; and digital rewards, such as virtual games, videos, and music.
